They hooked us up with over 20 Red Snapper (including this beast) at the first offshore spot alone. Also caught various other species including Grouper, Trigger, and more.

The massive amount of prep and expertise was apparent throughout the trip from both the Captain and his mate Jimmy. The Captain had even scuba dived at least one of the offshore spots in order to have the clearest picture of where to get a ton of hits.

The boat was outfitted with state of the art gear including the twin engines that got us offshore in no time to the depth and fish finder to give an even clearer picture of the most productive spots.

They were on top of the rigging and baiting constantly. And were very friendly and outgoing the entire trip.

I definitely hope to book with them in the future.

Captain Jacob and “Lieutenant Dan” (First-mate Jimmy) made our family feel comfortable and at ease aboard their boat. Captain Jacob was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and had safety as a priority. Although weather was not on our side, he was still able to our young teen fisherman on some fish and we were grateful for his service and advisement. Captain Jacob is top notch and knows the ocean… and where and how to find/hook the best fish! We look forward to coming back to doing some extensive 12 hour fishing him/his crew. Simply one of the best charters we’ve been on!  In addition, the 4 hour charter came with live bait already aboard (so you didn’t have to waist time in your trip doing that), he offered fresh, cold drinks, and he had every rod/lure you could ask for. We were just ecstatic and thankful!

Captain Jacob and first mate Jim were excellent.  Even though weather conditions were not ideal, we caught lots of fish. Captain Jacob and Jim were right on the spot rebaiting hooks, taking off fish we caught, going to good locations, and preparing and packing our fish for home. My family and I enjoyed the experience very much.  We cooked our catch that night and had a feast.

We had a great day on this charter. The boat, and equipment were good, well maintained. The captain, and crew were trying to get out of their way to get us more fish. The fish we were able to catch was the biggest, meanest fish both of us ever caught. Will do it again with the same crew.

I would like to explain the 4 star rating, the captain and 1st mate were friendly and knowledgeable. We tied the captains hands a bit by needing to stay inshore for some of our less experienced party members and possibility of sea sickness. I only gave 4 stars primarily because we had an equipment failure(trolling motor wouldn’t work) preventing us from being able to fish structure in current and causing us to spend all afternoon tied to a channel marker and no small discount, extra fishing time or anything was offered. They were nice enough and I know failures happen so I probably would have paid in full anyway but a jesture to acknowledge the trip was compromised would have made us feel they cared a bit more. Overall a good experience and my two children got to experience that style of fishing. I think between us being a bit needy with the children and the fishing gods killing the trolling motor it just made for a bit off a rough day. Other wise a good trip.
