Take a trip with Fish-In-Daze and explore some of the most productive fishing grounds in the world out of Destin! Fishing is Captain Robert Broestler’s biggest passion, and he’ll make sure you leave with a smile on your face and dinner in your hand.

The Fish-In-Daze is a 21’ Cape Horn saltwater fishing boat. Its most striking feature is a high tower fitted with controls that gives a great vantage point from the water. The boat has a jack plated engine that allows it to run in shallow depths, while it also tackles choppier waters nearshore well.

Capt. Rob will accommodate all levels of anglers, providing all the fishing equipment, including live bait. After a beautiful day out enjoying the nice Florida sun and hooking the fish of a lifetime, he’ll clean and fillet your catch for you to take home.

During your trip, you will not only learn to fish with an expert fisherman, but you will also have a great time having fun with mother nature. You can target the biggest of fish for game and sport, or go for the best-tasting species to let your memories of the trip continue onto the table that evening.

You may be trolling the Gulf for King Mackerel, Bonito and, if you’re lucky, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Tuna, and Sailfish. You can also try bottom fishing or spot casting (depending on the season) to land some delicious table fare or test your angling skills.

    These are fun trips, that sometimes end up with eating good fish. However, they are more angled towards lots of action, learning, and fun. We tend to try to have live bait on board before the trip starts. We often times use popping corks on light tackle rods. At the end of this trip, you have the option of checking one or two crab traps near the marina. Bring a spare cooler or a bucket for live blue crabs. We will send you recipes on how to cook and clean these beauties.

    This trip length allows anglers plenty of time to get typically between three and a half to two and a half hours of actual fishing time. This almost always equates to plenty of fish. It's my passion in life, much more than just a hobby. I find so much thrill and excitement to fight mother nature in the battle to catch the biggest and best fish. It makes the suns heat and time worth it, to be in the middle of the beautiful blue ocean flying through open waters of my next catch. To catch your own dinner every night doing what you love makes you feel at one with nature, it is the only thing I like to do at this point and couldn't imagine life without fishing.
