Murky Water Bowfishing offers exclusive adventures off the Gulf coast of Florida. Your guide for the day, Captain Alexander Lee, is a local angler who’s been fishing Florida’s backcountry flats for over 30 years. He specializes in bowfishing and handlining and caters his business to customers of all levels of experience. Capt. Alex invites you and your family on the journey of a lifetime to catch lots of fish and create lasting memories in the Gulf of Mexico!

You’ll be fishing from a 20’ Ski Barge flats boat, equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, bowfishing equipment, and safety gear. She also comes with custom LED lights to illuminate the water if you plan to fish after dark.

The boat’s twin 200 HP Mercury engines will bring you to the fishing grounds in no time and you’ll have a fishfinder to help put you on your target. She accommodates up to 4 guests and teenagers above the ages of 14 are welcome aboard.

Capt. Alex offers day and night trips, both of which will take you to some of the most secluded areas between Englewood and Port Charlotte. Here, you’ll be able to target a range of species, including Redfish, Black Drum, Cobia, Sheepshead, Alligator Gar, Barracuda, Stingray, and Snapper. These waters are brimming with these species and more, so you’ll have your fair slice of the action!

All necessary fishing tackle is included in the price, as well as your saltwater fishing license. Just please keep in mind, if you’ll be fishing in any freshwater or brackish areas, you must purchase a freshwater fishing license, per Florida regulations.

Capt. Alex provides bottled water and a cooler with ice if you’d like to bring your own snacks and drinks. He’s also got an extra fish box for your catch so it stays nice and fresh while you rack ‘em up!
