If I could give more stars I would. Second time going out with the rocken reel crew. We went out with Captain Steve and deckhand Noah. They had stories and jokes,to go with their knowledge of the area.
Got the opportunity to go out on the SS Tartar Sauce, great boat.  Started off by catching some barracuda, bonita, calico bass, and mackerel.  Captain Steve straight be lined to that hot spot where we were catching and reeling in fish every two minutes. Then we moved on to another area saw some dolphins and captain diverted so we could see them from the bow of the boat. 
Then we had an epic time catching mako sharks. Hooked a very large one that broke loose.  Reset and hooked another 5 minutes later that one broke loose too!  But reset and caught two more and brought them in and released them. 
So another great experience with this charter group.  I recommend them to anyone looking to have a good time and experience. Only charter I will use.

The Captain and First Mate were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were able to keep a baited line in the water.  This was our first experience fishing offshore on a boat.  It was also our first experience in the Pacific for any activity. I highly recommend this for anyone but especially families with mature children.  I chose to only fish for a short while and preferred watching the shoreline, wildlife, and my boys (18 & 20) do all the catching. Being on the water was very calming.
The water and weather were perfect! I found this to be a definite favorite memory.

My 14 (son) and 21 (daughter) year olds both had a a blast - as did I ! Captain Steve and his amazing deck hand made sure we were constantly reeling in fish.  We also followed an huge school of dolphin. Our first time fishing in the Pacific.  We are already talking about next year !  Trip was totally on time, boat has everything and would be great for younger kids or group of adults !

The Sun was shining, the water was 74 degrees and calm, and CLEAN. The chum was there, by the bucket full, and the bait was lively Mackerel. We fished the Ridge and the Hospital Hole and beyond, chumming all the way. And upon arriving at the harbor mouth while coming in, we stopped and fished another hour hoping a shark was feasting on the fish guts dumped there by other boats and would take our bait. Sometimes no matter WHAT you do, no fish will bite you. I’m 75 years old, and I learned long ago to not let a fish ruin my day. The boat was wonderful, the Captain and Mate were knowledgable, ,friendly and personable, and we all had a good time anyway.

My husband and I had a great time out for two hours. The captain and crew were incredibly personable, friendly, and downright nice. We were out for a leisurely troll of the coastline and put a few lines out. It was a great way to see the shore from another angle, and to boot we caught a few fish. I would highly recommend this to anyone, coming from a seasoned angler.  These guys know their stuff!
