Captain Tyler knows his stuff and they work hard to get you on fish. Been out with him twice now, once last year and then yesterday. Caught fish both times.

I like fishing with this crew. Makes it easy that Carlos English is really good, as I don’t speak Spanish.

Yesterday was truly memorable where I got to fight a large sailfish for 10 min before it spit the hook. Ended up landing a massive baracuda as a consolation price :).

Fished 3/4 day. Weather was perfect and Carlos and crew worked incredibly hard to put us on fish. We didn’t land any of the big and well known trolling fish, however I can check red snapper, amberjack and barracuda off of my species list, and was able to bring a meal back to our hotel to eat. There is only so much that can be done on a slow day but the amount of work that was put in with different techniques and approaches was appreciated. I fish back home well over 50x/year and these guys worked hard for my entire time on the water. They approached my trip much like how I would have approached my own. I would not hesitate booking La Chaluda again for future trips in Mexico which I feel like is the highest compliment that can be paid.

I would highly recommend Carlos and his crew. Our day was short, but the hospitality from captain and crew were great! They don’t see it as a job, you can tell it’s their lifestyle. I highly recommend!

We are not experienced at fishing but we had a great time. Captain Carlos was friendly and made sure we caught a couple fish. We did a little snorkelling at the end of the day and enjoyed a couple cold beers and some perfect weather. Sadly we were not able to eat our fish as we had taken a taxi and could not transport the fish to a restaurant or bbq. All in all, it was a great experience though.

Carlos and his mate put me and my dad on some fish. Trolled for a while and caught a big king mackerel then bottom fished on the reef for a bit.
I would recommend booking with carlos for anyone in the area.
