Wee Cat Charters has been taking families out fishing for 10 years. Your captain is USCG licensed, a 5-year past member of USCG Auxiliary, a USAF Veteran, and a retired police officer. Capt. Chris had fished in the Ocean City White Marlin Open, Stone Harbor Invitational White Marlin, and Jimmy Johnson “Quest For The Ring” tournaments. Your captain frequently fishes in Islamorada for reef species and LBI areas for Striped Bass.

Capt. Chris has 10 years charter captain fishing experience with over 150 FIVE STAR reviews on FishingBooker and Facebook. He’s familiar with surrounding saltwater waterways. So, your family will be safe, have fun and catch fish.

Your vessel will be a 22’ Trophy center console powered by a brand new 2024’ 200HP 4-stroke Suzuki engine. Allyn’s Ocean City Wee Cat Charters aims to please by offering friendly service, great tackle, and a clean vessel.

This boat is comfortable with features like a large T-top, an extra sunscreen for the stern, a rear bench seat, music, VHF radio, and two fish-finders. Fishing gear is well taken care of and we can use Penn, Shimano, Daiwa, Quantum, Lews, Tsunami and Yo-Zuri gear.

Charter trips usually consist of traveling calm waters behind Ocean City, Longport, Margate, and Somers Point. Some trips will even go up the Tuckahoe and Great Egg Harbor Rivers. Then, there are trips to one of three ocean reefs, dolphin watching, and trolling. The departure time of your trip is typically based on the tide and weather for best catching opportunities.

Captain Chris will always give you an honest assessment of conditions and his best recommendations based on tide, catching, and fisher’s level of experience. Depending on the conditions and your desires, your main targets will be Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Flounder, and Shark.

Note: For safety and liability, infants can not board the boat. Suntan lotion & bug spray must be applied prior to boarding to prevent fiberglass staining and bait contamination.

    Stripers are an elusive fish and fun to catch. There’s never a guarantee of catching, but it’s fun to test your fishing skills trying. This trip departs on a Striper’s schedule as they usually feed sunset to sunrise - not midday. We can live-line, lightly troll and cast some paddle-tails. This trip goes “conditions permitting.” Ex. Tide must be right. Wind must be right. This trip is limited to two (2) fishers.

Board the Wee Cat knowing your captain has almost ten years of charter captain experience and was a past member of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, certified as a crew member, vessel examiner and trainer for boating safety course. Captain Chris is a retired police officer, US Air Force veteran, a former committeeman, adjunct English professor, works with special needs children and NJ K-5 certified teacher. Captain Chris has been raised near saltwater and knows Ocean City fishing area like the back of his hand. He’s fished the back waters for Yellow Perch out to 100 miles out for Mahi, Golden Tilefish, Blue and White Marlin. His goal is to give you a great trip at a reasonable cost for a memorable fishing experience!
