Lake Grapevine, August 21st, Morning Chad, Russell and Caylee joined Captain Omar for a morning of catching! Things started off a little slow but as the morning progressed the bite got better and better. Double rigs consisting of an BoneHead Tackle mini beavertail tied above a RSR Lures slab put a lot of fish in the boat once things really got going! Everyone was really enjoying catching some doubles and really nice sized White Bass. There was wide spread schooling action most of the morning with fish being caught as deep as 30 feet. Water temps were in the low to mid 80's and the water was slightly off color. Lake levels are near normal and all public boat ramps are currently open. This Fall will be ideal conditions to come out and fish with us!
