We took a 10 hour trip to catch some trophy fish. It was my grandson’s first salt water fishing experience and his goal was to catch the biggest fish he could. Goal accomplished, because after arriving to our fishing spot, we had a marlin and HUGE sailfish on our lines within 20 minutes. Jorge said our sailfish would have won if we had been in a fishing competition that day. We also spotted many sea turtles, dolphins and whales which was icing on the cake! Jorge and David were super knowledgeable about salt water fishing and answering our questions. Definitely recommend!

My dad and I had a blast with Angelo and Maurice. We watched the sun rise over the bay and were soon onto some Jack’s which gave an epic fight. Then knowing we were looking for dinner Angelo made sure we caught lots of spanish mackerel, which we also got to try on the boat made into ceviche, doesn’t get fresher. Seeing dolphins and a baby whale was a bonus, and four hours flew by. The boat was super solid and I loved how hands on our trip was, book with these guys!

Four of us took a four hour morning charter from the Los Peines Marina on the Valeria I. We had set up for a couple days previously, but due to illness we needed to cancel at the very last minute. Captain Jorge was kind enough to suggest rescheduling for two days later and it worked out perfect for us.  The crew who took us out were entertaining and experienced. We hooked mahi mahi, shark, and a large sail fish. Landed 3 mahi mahi during our four hour charter—two at 30-35
pounds and a 15-20 pounder. Had perfect weather and couldn’t have enjoyed the trip more. Highly recommend boat and crew.

Captain Jorge made this trip even better than expected. He is awesome!!! Our trip was part fishing, part sightseeing-adventure (snorkeling, waterfalls, etc.) For fishing, our entire group caught something. We hooked into a couple big ones too but lost them. Captain Jorge is extremely knowledgable about fishing and many other things. He helped us get horses to trek to the waterfall; he even walked the entire way with us. He taught us about some of the local culture, nature-geography, food-drink. He took us to an outstanding seafood restaurant. Snorkeling was perfect. In between sights, we got close to two huge whales, and Captain Jorge even positioned us perfectly alongside a pod of dolphins. We started the trip ahead of schedule and finished on time. Our entire group loved the trip! We’ll book again. Thank you so much Captain Jorge!

My kids and I are novices at fishing.  Captain Jorge and David were great putting together a half-day trip that was fun and engaging for the kids.  I have a 7 and 10 year old, so we weren’t hunting trophy fish.  Jorge targeted some Spanish Mackerel which were perfect for the kids to reel in.  The kids caught 4 fish each and were thrilled.  Towards the end, they switched us to live bait that they caught and provided.  My 10 year old got to fight a Jack Crevalle.  Lost it right at the boat sadly.  But we caught another one right as time expired.  So we got to experience the difference in the effort needed for different fish. 

The boat was shaded and clean.  It was comfortable for all of us and more.  We got to see some turtles and dolphins up close.  Really cool experience and great people to guide us. 

We learned a few new things today and the kids said they want to do this again.  That’s a win.  We will come back again.
